Privacy Policy for Pehredar

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Pehredar ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Nexcore Alliance LLP("Company"). This policy explains what data the Pehredar mobile application (com.code4bharat1.pehredar_app) collects, why, and how it is used.

1. Who this app is for

Pehredar is a workforce-management app used by security agencies to manage guards, attendance, duty deployments, and site inspections. It is used by guards and employees, who mark attendance, receive duty assignments, and submit inspection reports, and by supervisors and administrators, who monitor deployments and review submissions.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect location or camera data when the app is not in use by an employee actively on duty, beyond what is described above.

3. How we use data

  • To operate core features: attendance marking, shift scheduling, inspections, incident reports.
  • To verify a guard is physically present at an assigned site during a shift — the primary reason background location is requested.
  • To send notifications about duty assignments, shift changes, and alerts.

4. Data sharing

Photos and documents you upload are stored via Cloudinary, a third-party media hosting provider, under our storage configuration. Your employer (the security agency that deployed this app for you) can see your attendance, location-at-checkin, and inspection data as part of normal workforce management — this is core app functionality, not a third-party share. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We may share data if required by law or to protect safety.

5. Data retention

We retain attendance, payroll, and inspection records for the duration of your employment, plus 7 years thereafter, to meet payroll, tax, and labor law record-keeping obligations. Location history and uploaded documents are deleted when your account is deleted (see below), independent of this retention period.

6. Your choices

Location permission can be denied or revoked in device settings, though this will limit or disable attendance/duty-verification features. Camera permission is requested only when you use a feature that needs it and can be managed in device settings.

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time from the app (Profile > Delete Account) or from our account deletion page. Attendance, payroll, and other compliance records are retained as described in Section 5, with your personal identifiers removed from them.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted storage for authentication tokens and HTTPS for network transport, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Pehredar is a workforce app intended for adult employees of security agencies and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified in-app or via the contact details below.
